Bayern Munich lost at home to Frankfurt; Benfica lost at home to Portimonense; Ajax lost at home to Utrecht; Real Madrid lost to Espanyol; Lazio were thrashed by Bologna; and it was indeed a stormy Sunday. A Sunday of buzzing ballers.
Liverpool and Man City gave us a classic to enjoy, and we saw the legend of Mo Salah- the Egyptian god in Merseyside. 101 goals in 152 games; Salah can’t stop scoring.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s troops are not hitting the target as they drew against Everton, to the angst of Mancunians. Tactless, thoughtless, confused- the adjectives for Solskjaer are enormous.
It was a weekend of ball and buzz.
